SkillsetGroup CMO honored with Hometown Mayor’s Award

Our exceptional Chief Marketing Officer, Jose Baca, was honored with the Mayor's Award of Excellence in his hometown of Paramount, California, on January 23rd, 2024. We take immense pride in having such an exceptional individual as part of our esteemed company and dynamic leadership team.

Jose's remarkable achievements were acknowledged for his outstanding collaboration with our dedicated team at SkillsetGroup and our non-profit division, SkillsetGives. He has made remarkable contributions to the city, serving as an active board member on the Paramount Education Partnership board. Through this role, Jose has played a pivotal role in providing scholarships to underprivileged youth in the city, empowering them to pursue their dreams.

Moreover, Jose has been instrumental in organizing annual Easter Basket Giveaways for the residents of Paramount. Since its inception in 2017, this heartwarming event has distributed tens of thousands of free baskets to the community. This selfless act of kindness has brought joy and smiles to the faces of countless individuals.
