Vikas has applied his vast accounting and financial skillset to businesses large and small before he took the CFO position here at SkillsetGroup. Vikas has expertise on financial reporting and compliance across the U.S. and internationally.
Vikas has developed accounting teams, managed accounting software transition projects, and handled multiple enterprise resource planning systems.
He has expertise in securing large, enterprise-level lines of credit at competitive rates, including one that has helped SkillsetGroup rocket onto the national stage as one of the United States’ fastest-growing firms.
Vikas’s passion is building accounting teams that run like clockwork to improve profit and loss statements. He’s an expert in establishing accounting functions, best practices, cost reduction, automation, tax strategies and lucrative, lasting business relationships.
Dennis Avery, Vice President of Sales
Dennis has a long history in staffing. He spent his early career at staffing firms around Southern California, but he rocketed through the ranks at SkillsetGroup, starting as a senior account manager in 2016.
Dennis has helped pioneer our evidence-based client onboarding and client success processes, as well as establishing multiple lucrative partnerships with Southern California businesses. Dennis has also worked to build the teams and maintain the facilities for our four offices in Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
Dennis’s duties include managing client relationships, supporting our business development executives and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the business to maintain the firm’s impressive growth rate.
Steve Coppola, Director of Specialty Projects
Steve Coppola was SkillsSetGroup’s first employee in 2013. With a background in retail management, training and inventory, Steve leapt into the staffing industry with enthusiasm, growing into a talented recruiter for internal positions and positions staffed for our clients. He still works on recruiting in addition to the specialty projects and personnel training he oversees.
These include developing standard operating procedures for our fast-growing firm, developing and administering training to new employees, internal communications, organizational planning, data retention and management and implementing and configuring SkillSetGroup’s applicant tracking system.
