A Pink Halloween: Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Each year, SkillsetGroup likes to get in the holiday spirit in different ways. In the past we have done our decoration contests for Halloween with each office vying to take the lead. This year, we wanted to take our team's overwhelming holiday spirit and use it for a great cause. With October being the month of Breast Cancer Awareness, SkillsetGroup leadership decided to commit to charitable giving rather than a contest to out-scare each other. We tasked our staff with either putting together their best costumes or simply wearing pink to support this charitable cause. We committed to donate $50 for each of our employees that showed their holiday spirit and support to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. With resounding support we saw over half of our staff take this task to heart to support breast cancer awareness. In all, we have committed a sum of $2,000.00 to donate to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help life-changing research that could help countless individuals and families through development of new treatments and understanding of this serious illness. We are proud of our staff for participating and feel a strong commitment to help those in need where we can. See how some of our staff got in on the action below!
