Hundreds of people lined up starting more than an hour early for the annual Easter Basket Giveaway held by SkillsetGroup's charity arm, SkillsetGives, Saturday.
The staffing and consulting firm distributed more than 200 Easter baskets to local families. They offered light refreshments and a DJ playing family friendly tunes, and Paramount Council Member Brenda Olmos was the event's guest of honor...
Second to the Easter Bunny, of course. He teamed up with SkillsetGroup and SkillsetGives, our owned-and-operated charity to provide the baskets and pose for family photos.
We honored the late Maria Teresa Ortiz (1959-2023), a dear member of the community, with the event, hosting it in her memory.
