Production Supervisor - Food Industry

SkillsetGroup is seeking (3) Production Supervisors to work in the city of Gardena, CA area. The ideal candidates will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves managing production staff, monitoring workflow, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets. The Production Supervisor ensures compliance with food safety regulations, implements process improvements, and maintains high product quality while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the production environment. Title: Production Supervisors (cooking side)

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITIES

Pay: $75-90k/yr.

Shift: OPEN to all shifts (these are approx. start times)

1st Shift: 5 or 6 am start time, can work 10-hour days. 

2nd Shift:  3 pm – 11pm, can work 10-hour days.

3rd Shift:  11 pm – 7:30am, can work 10-hour days.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience as Production Supervisor, would look at leads with 6+ years’ experience.
• Working with Meat Enchiladas, dips for Trader Joe’s, baking, etc. OR from the Fresh Produce side of a Food manufacturer.
• Experience managing at least 50+ personnel.
• Extensive production experience
• Knowledge of GMP’s, HACCP & SOPs
• Possesses basic math skills.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual and Food industry a STRONGLY preferred
