Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a warehouse associate in a company locate in West Chicago, IL 60185

  Manufacturer of wiring devices, lighting controls, and wireless home automation devices. The company was established in 2007, in Irvine, CA, but we sell both nationally and internationally. We offer over 700 products and supply parts for the residential, commercial, and industrial construction markets. We are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate in the West Chicago area to join our team.

Job Duties

• Loads and unloads products from van and/or truck manually.
• Operates a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety in tight spaces.
• Prepares and completes orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship).
• Simple packaging and assembling.
• Receives and processes warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, and store).
• Keeps a clean and safe working environment and optimizes space utilization.
• Communicates and cooperates with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operates and maintains preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years warehouse work experience.
• Experience with forklift operation, valid certification to operate forklifts a plus.
• May be required to lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Computer literacy. Familiarity with RF scanning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

License/Certification: Forklift Certificate
