Painter - Industrial

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Painter – Industrial Equipment to work in the city of Santa Fe Springs, CA area. Your primary responsibility will be to apply paint and protective coatings to various types of industrial equipment. Your expertise in operating painting equipment, surface preparation, and knowledge of coating materials will be essential for ensuring high-quality finishes and effective corrosion protection.   This will be a 1st shift position and a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Details:

• Job Title: Painter – Industrial Equipment
• Shift: 1st shift, Monday – Friday and some Saturdays
  • 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• Duration: TTH at 55%
• Pay: $20-28/hr. 

Key Responsibilities:

·Responsible for painting company product using pressure pots, spray guns, and rollers/brushes.

·Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking the areas.

·Prepare quality checks and perform any touch ups necessary on scratches, run downs, etc.

·Understand specs/blueprints of the job, product data sheets, safety sheets.

·Keep accurate record of paint used and keep logs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Painter with Industrial Equipment.
• Understand cleaning procedures and correct solvents to use with the different types of paint.
• Strong knowledge of all paint equipment.
• Skills to assemble and disassemble paint equipment.
• Able to clean/maintain the paint equipment.
• Proper way to dispose of used paints.
