Diesel Mechanic

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to work in the city of Stockton, CA area.  The ideal candidate will conduct pre-delivery inspections and on-site equipment diagnostics, performing service repair and maintenance in accordance with service programs. May receive guidance from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager, or Shop Foreman.This will be a 1st shift position and a Direct hire opportunity.  To apply, email rmills@skillsetgroup.com

Job Order Details:

• Job Title: Service Technician/Golf Technician 
• DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
• Hours: Monday – Friday Day shift plus overtime 
  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, hours can vary
• Pay: $30-40/ hour 

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience performing service repairs as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Provide high-quality on-site service for all equipment, including assembly of new equipment and delivery.
• Discuss and document maintenance, repair, or service concerns directly with customers on work orders.
• Establish and maintain effective stocking processes with the Parts department to ensure proper seasonal parts inventory in the vehicle.
• Stay informed about the company and competitive products.
• Maintain the mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
• Complete all required reports and forms for work assignments.
• Never operate equipment without proper training and inspection.
