Summary: Working in Production Planning Department assisting with all aspects of production including scheduling multiple production lines, ordering all raw materials for associated lines, scheduling delivery trucks, managing PO’s to completion, communicating with customers and vendors, maintaining planning systems, and other office administrative duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
Write schedules for multiple production lines.
Communicate with customers on all aspects of their schedule and orders.
Order all raw materials for production runs by creating and tracking Purchase Orders.
Work closely with vendors to ensure all materials are delivered on time.
Maintain Just In Time ordering.
Maintain minimal remaining on hand inventory.
Make order changes in the event of a schedule change.
Email all schedule changes, update schedule monitors daily & with changes.
Work closely with Production Planning Supervisor on production schedule.
Work closely with Inventory Control team on maintaining a proper level of raw material inventory.
Complete accurate work in Avail, ILS, SAP, and any other applicable systems.
Order bottles for all/some Anaheim hot fill lines.
Cross train on your area as needed.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: H.S. Diploma and 3-5 years general office experience. Must be computer literate, experience with the following systems preferred: SAP, AS400, Avail, ILS, MS Office
