TO MANAGER, RETAIL MARKETING
The position of Retail & Shopper Marketing Manager exists for the purpose(s) of supporting assigned retailers and serve as the domestic and export shopper marketing and e-commerce resource to the marketing team. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to planning and managing national account-specific and international consumer-to-shopper campaigns and measurement, e-commerce solutions, merchandising programs, in-store, digital and social media promotions. This individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
Essential Job functions/ Duties:
- Drive innovation in consumer and shopper marketing programs for Market Access Program (MAP) in key export markets
- Serve as the shopper marketing expert across assigned account base, leveraging retailer and brand strategies
- Lead and manage digital shopper planning, execution and measurement, including strategies, timelines and e-Commerce tactics
- Drives growth across a variety of digitally enabled purchasing platforms with key retailers: Curbside Pickup platforms, Scan & Go, “Click & Collect” programs, and 1P Delivery
- Translates national brand strategies, marketing plans and insights into actionable customer marketing plans & sales strategies for a variety of store channels. Ensure compliance with brand unification efforts and ROI generation
- Support outside agencies with briefings, review/approvals and evaluation
- Act as traffic manager for all account-specific promotions to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met
- Run program analytics for marketing activities, collaborating with category management, sales and retailers to determine ROI, better understand past performance and set future goals
- Develop program education, calls to action and communications to ensure all key stakeholders updated on programming KPIs
- Maintains strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence decision making
- Manage and perform monthly reconciliation of department marketing budget and assist Finance as needed
- Meet professional obligations through regular and timely attendance and efficient work habits such as setting/meeting deadlines, and coordinating resources and meetings in an effective manner
- Internal contact with all levels of employees in Marketing, Sales, Varietal Management and Finance. External contact with creative agencies, vendors and packinghouses
- Organize and track all promotions through the development and maintenance of a retail marketing activity log and analytics file on a weekly basis
- Resolves accounting discrepancies or irregularities with Finance Department and vendors
- Codes all marketing invoices and processes all wire requests from vendors
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field
- 5+ years of experience in similar position, with an emphasis in e-Commerce
- Preferred minimum 2 years agency or agency management experience
- Strong working knowledge of websites, digital advertising platforms, shopper channels and social media
- Previous experience with curbside pickup and home delivery platforms is a plus
- Advanced PC skills (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook); understanding of databases and ability to create pivot tables a plus
- Excellent communications and presentation skills (written and oral)
- Must have a strong sense of urgency
- Must be detail-oriented
- Stellar creative thinking, analytic and problem-solving capabilities; ability to express ideas professionally; passionate about the work, possess a positive attitude
- Must maintain a positive approach to collaboration and a willingness to learn the details of all aspects of Sunkist and Marketing
- Must be decisive and enforce brand standards
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
